Vacation vacation volume, enthusiasm lower

It was two times before Xmas and all via the Cash Area Intercontinental Airport, number of people were being stirring.

Travelers sporadically built their way via TSA security on their way to their gates.

“We’re down to about 30% of our usual travel for the holidays,” Spencer Flynn, marketing supervisor for the airport, said Wednesday.

Journey volume for the Thanksgiving holiday was all-around 40% of standard, Flynn reported.

Nate Thomas was 1 of the handful of travelers planning to board a flight at Lansing’s airport on Wednesday early morning.

Thomas was heading again home to Vermont after checking out spouse and children.

 “I truly feel totally protected (flying),” Thomas said by his mask. “I fly a full bunch for do the job so I’ve been traveling as a result of this total matter.”
