Tyler Perry travels house to Georgia to vote in person just after absentee ballot fails to arrive

On 4 January, the Madea creator and director tweeted that in spite of requesting an absentee ballot in the mail, one never ever materialised, even while he received a transport affirmation.
“Hey Georgia, Is any individual else acquiring this problem? I requested my absentee ballot on December 2nd. I’m instructed it was mailed on the 4th. I still really don’t have it!” he wrote.

Previous Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams replied, encouraging him to vote in person. “Hey @tylerperry, we’ve acquired you,” she wrote. “Asked for a ballot but have not received it?
