KALABURAGI: Tirupati is now just an hour away for inhabitants of Kalaburagi and neighbouring districts as StarAir commenced flights among the two towns from Monday.
In a privately held ceremony at Kalaburagi airport, the route was inaugurated by Kalaburagi MP Dr Umesh Jadhav in the existence of other dignitaries. Senior executives from AAI, Star Air and Sanjay Ghodawat Team have been existing.
Speaking on the event, Jadhav expressed his pleasure and requested StarAir to start flight companies to Mumbai, Hyderabad and other crucial cities.
Sanjay Ghodawat, who is the running director of the Sanjay Ghodawat Team which operates StarAir, in his message reported StarAir has previously related Kalaburgi with the state funds Bengaluru and national money Delhi and now it is staying linked with an important pilgrimage centre of the state. These non-stop flight companies from Kalaburagi will not only make vacation extra effortless but also aid enhance the local economic system and companies, he said.
Each and every calendar year, countless numbers of holidaymakers and pilgrims fly to Tirupati from Kalaburagi. They can now deal with the length of all over 620 km in just an hour as opposed to the 11 hrs wanted by way of other modes of transportation, he said.
