The Weeknd adds new dates and reschedules his upcoming UK tour

The Weeknd has become the latest musician to reschedule his upcoming UK tour.

While the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to the music and hospitality industry as we know it, the vaccine roll-out has offered some much-needed hope.

Many artists have rescheduled their tours to begin in September or October, while those penned in for May and June are eagerly awaiting developments.

The Weeknd, however, has taken little risk. Tour dates that were already scheduled for October of this year have now been pushed back by a further twelve months.

Along with the rescheduling, a series of new dates have also been added as the artists success across this country continues to spread.

His single Blinding Lights , released in late 2019, has been one of the undeniable hits of the past few years. It spent an impressive ten weeks at #1 here in the UK and propelled the artist into the mainstream.
