Reddit allows reunite backpacker with extended-shed vacation diary

Jan. 21 (UPI) — An Australian guy who discovered an old travel diary in a cupboard at a rental property was able to reunite it with the backpacker who shed the journal about 20 years previously.

David Ryan reported he was hunting in the cabinet of a rental residence in west Melbourne when he uncovered a diary detailing a New Zealand man’s travels through Southeast Asia with his good friends in the 1990s.

Ryan posted shots of the journal to Reddit in the hopes of having assistance monitoring down the journal’s proprietor, who appeared to be named Nick.

Redditors instructed the names in the journal could be the customers of an Auckland-primarily based band called Ziko, but the team experienced previous launched an album in 2012 and experienced incredibly very little on-line existence.
