Quebec Politician Travels To Caribbean As Officers Urge Remaining Dwelling

MONTREAL — Quebec Liberal member Pierre Arcand is vacationing with his wife in the Caribbean in spite of warnings from the federal and provincial governments to stay property all through the pandemic.

The Canadian Push has obtained a statement from Arcand, who led the Quebec Liberals between 2018-20, stating he is in Barbados, a area he identified as “one of the most secure locations in the planet now.”

Canada and Quebec have consistently requested Canadians not to travel overseas all through the pandemic, in particular in the winter, when the country is reporting history numbers of bacterial infections and hospitals are overburdened by COVID-19 people.

According to Radio-Canada, which initial reported the information, Arcand was spotted by a witness in the Glitter Bay district of the place.

Arcand suggests in his assertion he “regrets this decision specified the present-day problem in Quebec and the regard we owe to well being-care personnel.”
