The business opportunity for the operation of the Wildwood Stables had been open for proposals from September of 2019. This cancellation will allow the park service to conduct further planning and analysis following operational changes to the business related to the pandemic.

The park has extended the existing contract with Carriages of Acadia to continue to provide visitor services.
