New Zealand Cricket Main Government David White has played down worries they may well not be able to host Australia in impending sequence immediately after the country confirmed its initially case of Covid-19 in the group in months.

New Zealand will host Australia in a 5-match Twenty20 series beginning on Feb. 22 in Christchurch. The women’s staff engage in England in 3 1-dayers and a few T20s from Feb. 23 ahead of hosting Australia.

New Zealand on Monday verified its initial scenario of Covid-19 in the community in months in a 56-yr-old female, prompting Australia to instantly suspend a travel bubble with the state for 72 hrs.

“We’re incredibly favourable that the excursions to New Zealand will carry on with the Australian teams,” White advised New Zealand’s Stuff media.

“We have been guided by the New Zealand governing administration agencies all summertime, they have been wonderful and quite supportive, and we will carry on to be guided by them.”

White included that the England women’s team arrive in New Zealand on Tuesday.

New Zealand’s adult males are established to tour England for two Tests in June and White is confident the sequence will go forward despite the Covid-19 problem there.

“We’ve been doing work with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for the previous 12 months, just operating together on the various bio bubbles and issues,” White claimed.

“They are quite innovative, pretty innovative in their solution, and we are quite self-assured that it will be all in buy for our gamers.”
