Lilley Cornett Woods supplying totally free weekend guided excursions

LETCHER COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – In partnership with Jap Kentucky College, the Lilley Cornett Woods Appalachian Ecological Study Station is supplying no cost guided excursions to the community.

They have two trails for the tours, a person being a mile and a half and the other being two miles. Jeremy Wolfe is an intern at the station and he says it will make scheduling extra practical.

“It just will make it less difficult for people’s schedules. They don’t have to set up a time…they can just appear out and be like, hey, I’m listed here, I’d like to go on a path, I’d like to go on a tour,” Lilley Cornett Woods Intern Jeremy Wolfe reported.

Wolfe says finding individuals out of the house securely is the most essential factor of the hikes.

“You can invite your family members and go exterior and be out in mother nature, properly, and I assume which is a terrific thing,” Wolfe mentioned.

For Curtis Cox, the manager at Lilley Cornet Woods, it is all about owning folks encounter the elegance of the space.
