Information in a bottle travels 2,000 miles from Canada to Scotland

Dec. 10 (UPI) — A Scottish couple claimed they were stunned when a plastic bottle their puppy identified at the beach turned out to be a information in a bottle that traveled 2,000 miles from Canada.

Sharon and Michael Cox claimed they have been going for walks on Traigh Eais seashore, on the Isle of Barra, when their pet, Louie, grabbed a plastic bottle out of the surf.

The few opened the bottle and discovered a handwritten note that was dropped into the ocean off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.

The message reads: “Hello, my identify is Kaya and my uncle Curt is creating this letter hoping that anyone will decide it up and see how considerably it will travel. This is the latitude and longitude in which he will drop this bottle from a fishing boat. I reside in a small group named Reefs Harbour on the norther peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada.”

The pair reported Kayla’s spouse and children obtained in touch right after looking at their article about the discovery on social media.
