Historic landmark Meadow Brook Hall reopens for tours Saturday

Meadow Brook Corridor, a historic mansion in Rochester Hills, reopens this Saturday for public touring.

Found on the Oakland University campus, this National Historic Landmark will be open up on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., admitting the past visitors by 3 p.m.

Friends can stroll via all amounts of the mansion as nicely as outdoor pathways with self-guided excursions via a new touring app.

Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of car pioneer John Dodge, built this house from 1926 to 1929. It is an example of Tudor-revival style architecture, in its grand dimensions of 88,000 square toes with 1,500 acres, leisure facilities and farm properties. It was named a National Historic Landmark in 2012, now open up to the general public as a sightseeing desired destination.

Grown ups spend $10 to enter admission is $7 for seniors 62 and older and $5 for kids ages 6-12. 

In compliance with COVID-19 basic safety recommendations, website visitors will have to wear a deal with masking indoors and retain social distancing.
