Glass Museum launches VIP and self-guided excursions

LANCASTER – The Ohio Glass Museum in Lancaster is now providing private VIP tours and self-guided excursions by the finish of February. 

According to a media release, VIP tour appointments are available Tuesday as a result of Saturday among noon and 4 p.m.

Self-guided tours are also accessible with kiosks programmed with information about the exhibits and the museum’s heritage. 

“We know how vital it is for people today to get out of the home and appreciate exciting, harmless activities all through this time,” explained Mike Shook, Museum Board President. “That is why we have located a way to open up our museum doorways to people today and little groups while thoroughly adhering to basic safety protocols. Whether or not people have seasoned the museum ahead of, or it is their very first time exploring the exhibits, we believe every person will depart with a new appreciation of the history and art these pieces carry to this group.”

Transportation Enhancement District assembly Jan. 28

The Fairfield County Transportation Improvement District will focus on a number of impending highway projects for the duration of their board conference Thursday, Jan. 28.

Carroll Committees electing chairpersons Feb. 2

CARROLL – Multiple Village of Carroll committees will elect chairpersons in impending conferences on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The assembly schedule will be as follows: 

  • Carroll Service Committee – 5:30 p.m.
  • Carroll Guidelines Committee – 5:45 p.m.
  • Carroll Safety Committee – 6 p.m.
  • Carroll Financial Committee – 6:15 p.m.

As of Jan. 25, each individual committee will only be electing a chairperson and speaking about any business enterprise introduced prior to them, apart from the Company Committee. The Assistance Committee will also explore replacing the carpet in the municipal setting up. 

Each individual meeting will choose location at the Carroll municipal creating at 68 Middle St. These meetings are open to the general public to attend.
