Father Of Charli D’Amelio Points out TikTok Influencer’s Controversial Bahamas Getaway Was ‘A Family Vacation’

TikTok feeling Charli D’Amelio has been a magnet for controversy, and her father is coming to her defence just after her most current scandal.

In late December, although most people celebrated a subdued vacation without the need of liked types in order to enable sluggish the distribute of COVID-19, Charli, 16, and sister Dixie, 19, were being hit with backlash after putting up TikTok movies of on their own vacationing in the Bahamas.

The siblings’ father, Marc D’Amelio, dealt with the backlash in a modern job interview with YouTuber Kevin Wong.

“Very first of all, to blame Charli — it was a loved ones trip. She’s 16 so she has no say in where by we’re likely. So, you fellas can place it on me, but we did what we had to do, you know, we went absent,” he claimed.

“Corona is true and persons have to choose it very seriously. You know, we still left a hotbed and went to a area exactly where there was quite minimal corona, but we do get it seriously and we want to secure other folks and we will not take it evenly. It is really a genuine virus and lots of people today have gotten killed and died from it,” he extra.

However, he stopped shorter of apologizing, simply expressing, “we read them loud and crystal clear, and it is what it is.”
