Father Of Charli D’Amelio Explains TikTok Influencer’s Controversial Bahamas Getaway Was ‘A Spouse and children Vacation’

TikTok feeling Charli D’Amelio has been a magnet for controversy, and her father is coming to her defence after her most up-to-date scandal.
In late December, whilst most folks celebrated a subdued getaway with no loved ones in purchase to aid sluggish the spread of COVID-19, Charli, 16, and sister Dixie, 19, were being strike with backlash after publishing TikTok films of by themselves vacationing in the Bahamas.
The siblings’ father, Marc D’Amelio, resolved the backlash in a current job interview with YouTuber Kevin Wong.
“Initially of all, to blame Charli — it was a household trip. She’s 16 so she has no say in where by we’re heading. So, you guys can put it on me, but we did what we had to do, you know, we went absent,” he reported.

“Corona is genuine and people have to acquire it seriously. You know, we left a hotbed and went to a area in which there was quite minimal corona, but we do consider it severely and we want to protect other people and we don’t get it frivolously. It is a authentic virus and a lot of folks have gotten killed and died from it,” he added.
Even so, he stopped short of apologizing, basically saying, “we read them loud and very clear, and it is what it is.”
