Santa is to make tours of the town centre in between 3pm and 4pm.

Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club’s Santa sleigh will do two or three circuits of the town from the railway station up Castle Gates, spherical to the major of Wyle Cop, together High Avenue, down Shoplatch, into Barker Avenue, along the Riverside and back to the station.

Two Rotarians will male the Wyle Cop barricades, while two some others will wander along with the sleigh.

“Due to Covid-19 limits there will be no halting, no handouts and no alternatives to give donations to Santa,” explained Rotarian Julian Wells, who is organising the town tour.
