Guwahati, Jan 25 (UNI) Assam Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary

these days frequented the Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Constrained (BVFCL) at Namrup and

took a tour of the plant spot.

The Minister held a assembly with CMD, BVFCL, and group of officers on the operating of

the running units.

Patowary confident entire guidance of the Governing administration of Assam for the proposed brownfield

Device IV ammonia-urea production unit.

He included that Assam Governing administration has presently taken up the issue with Central

Govt for bringing Unit IV into truth at the earliest.

He spoke on the problem of sanction of Rs 100 crores for speedy maintenance

necessities of Device II and Unit III and that the matter is staying pursued at Central

Governing administration stage.

Just after remaining cleared by Union Finance Ministry, the sanction is awaiting Union Cabinet

approval which may just take put whenever soon.

Patowary outlined his recent assembly with DV Sadananda Gowda, Union Chemical substances

and Fertilizers Minister, on the matter of placing up of a new ammonia-urea plant at the

premises of BVFCL.

With the current annual ability of 3.9 lakh MT of urea, BVFCL, Namrup, is the only

urea fertilizer manufacturing enterprise in the jap zone of the state comprising the

states of North East, West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar.
