Some believe scheduling a ticket on a reduced-cost airline can have a sting in its tail and that was certainly the case for one male who flew on GOL Linhas Aereas in Brazil, only to be stung by a scorpion mid-flight.

The person was traveling concerning Campinas and Fortaleza when he felt something land on his left shoulder. With no searching, he tried to brush the product off – it was then that the stinging started off, according to neighborhood media reports.

GOL Linhas Aereas confirmed in a statement that a passenger had been taken care of by a medical workforce when the flight landed in Fortaleza, but explained he wasn’t displaying any major signs.

The airline also mentioned it has currently carried out an additional round of fumigation on the aircraft and insists it has rigid techniques for cleansing and sanitising all of its plane.

“GOL Linhas Aereas regrets what transpired and informs that it is in contact with the client to supply all the necessary aid,” the airline claimed in a statement.

At the time the airplane had landed, travellers have been told not to open the baggage compartments higher than them right until they had been checked.
