Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo Embark on Trip of a Life span

Bridesmaids co-writers Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo have reunited as quirky pals embarking on the trip of a life span in Lionsgate’s Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar.

The newest trailer for the comedy has a spooky beginning, opening with a dark, purple sky looming around an ominous-searching tree, followed by a near-up shot of a person using a bicycle.

As Wiig’s Star, brief for Starbara, sneaks into her home, she finds Mumolo’s Barb flicking the lamp on and off.

“What are you doing?” Star asks.

“Oh, I was just actively playing with this lamp,” Barb, just “plain old Barb” replies, lightening the temper.

Established to Madonna’s hit music “Holiday,” the relaxation of the trailer demonstrates Barb and Star hanging out with friends over a evening meal of sizzling doggy soup, obtaining their portraits painted and searching all over Vista Del Mar.

It’s obvious that the quirky pair of lifelong pals are a bit bizarre, especially when Star shows off her new phone scenario.

“Wait, we do not have mobile phones,” Barb claims.

“I know, I’m gonna get it household and glue it to our landline” Star factors.

The trailer ends on Barb and Star assembly a fellow vacationer — performed by Jamie Dornan, clad in a floral-print Hawaiian shirt — at the lodge bar.

When Dornan reveals he’s remaining in area 611, Star chimes in.

“Barb, oh my gosh, he’s in 611?” Star exclaims, attempting to grab Dornan’s notice.

“611?” Barb claims. “We’re in 124!”

The film also stars Damon Wayans Jr., Fortune Feimster, Wendi McLeandon-Covey, Rose Abdoo, Vanessa Bayer, Phyllis Smith and Kwame Patterson. Directed by Josh Greenbaum, the movie is producerd by Wiig, Mumolo, Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Margot Hand.

Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar will be offered by means of quality video on demand from customers on Feb. 12.
