Former Saskatchewan highways minister addresses Xmas travel: ‘Not a holiday’
Saskatchewan’s former highways minister states he wishes he could just take again a vacation he took to California over the Christmas holidays though men and women were informed to stay household and stay clear of family members gatherings.
Joe Hargrave, who is the member of the legislature for Prince Albert, has apologized for the trip to Palm Springs and resigned from cupboard before this week.

Hargrave claims it was not a vacation holiday getaway but a final decision by him and his wife to market their household there.
He has been strongly criticized for the excursion and the Opposition NDP has accused him of lying about the intent of the journey when he originally explained he was finalizing a household sale.

Hargrave reported he was just nervous about the property.
“You know hindsight is 20/20 and now I want I hadn’t long gone but you know we felt at the time our residence there was vacant 10 months and almost certainly going to be vacant yet another 10 months or a calendar year and we should offer it just before a little something happens to it, like any person breaks-in,” he mentioned Friday.
Hargrave refuted the NDP’s competition that he was on a vacation and explained he did not recognize the misinformation spread all-around about his relatives on social media.
“It just gets carried away as to what I was up to, that my total loved ones was down there and we were partying,” he mentioned.
“We (Hargrave and his wife) isolated the total time we had been in California and we isolated listed here.”
