As soon as COVID is around, never squander time on your travels

“However not open up?” I am sure the product sales agent  at the Frenchman’s Reef Resort in St. Thomas detected the shock in my voice. It appears my vacationers hoping for a wintertime escape to the spot where they experienced celebrated their honeymoon 10 several years ago would have to wait right until late fall — or probably the spring of 2022 — to check out this preferred resort.

“Hurricane Irma hit us quite undesirable a couple yrs back,” he continued, ” and, then, just as we had been setting up to make progress and rebuild again, covid arrived.  Acquiring building materials to the island and owning a constantly balanced perform power has been a problem. The journey back again is using substantially for a longer time than we at any time expected.”

Boy!  Did I truly feel negative. Here I sit whining about 9 months of becoming pressured to have my journey agency function remotely due to covid though this bad resort in St. Thomas is hoping to rebuild soon after two several years. How unfortunate is that? In some cases, we just have to have to pause and get inventory to recognize how incredibly blessed we genuinely are.
